Manager Wayne Rooney has made two changes to the side which faced Middlesbrough last weekend for this afternoon’s Sky Bet Championship clash against Peterborough United (3pm kick-off).

It’s a big game in the Sky Bet Championship as the Rams could leapfrog their opponents in the table should they gain all three points.

Rooney has handed a full debut to Under-23s captain and central defender Eiran Cashin who partners Curtis Davies at the heart of the defence.

With Richard Stearman still suspended and Lee Buchanan picking up a knock in training, Cashin, who has made four appearances from the bench so far this term, has been rewarded with his first league start for the club after coming through the Academy ranks.

Davies, himself, hits a landmark today as he makes his 300th Sky Bet Championship appearance.

Elsewhere, Liam Thompson has been replaced by Festy Ebosele in the starting line-up, who came on at half time in last weekend’s game against Boro.

The winger has shaken off a hamstring niggle and starts against Posh.
