Rooney Makes One Change For Coventry City Clash

Manager Wayne Rooney has made one change to the Derby County side which faced Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday night for this afternoon’s Sky Bet Championship early kick off against Coventry City (12:30pm kick-off).

The Rams have the opportunity to move within three points of Reading for a brief period at least as they eye victory on home turf ahead of the final international break of the season.

The one change to today’s side against the Sky Blues sees Krystian Bielik return to the starting line-up.

The Poland international sat out Tuesday’s 3-1 defeat against Blackburn and replaces Jason Knight who reverts to the substitutes bench.

Striker Colin Kazim-Richards has been ruled out with an ankle injury, whilst left-back Lee Buchanan has been named in the team despite suffering a knock in midweek.

Derby County: Allsop, Byrne, Bielik, Bird, Lawrence (C), Morrison, Buchanan, Ebiowei, Davies, Cashin, Thompson.

Substitutes: Roos, Forsyth, Stearman, Sibley, Ebosele, Knight, Plange.

Coventry City: Moore, Clarke-Salter, Allen, O’Hare, Sheaf, Hyam, Dabo, Godden (C), Shipley, Bidwell, Hamer.

Substitutes: Wilson, Waghorn, Gyokeres, Maatson, Reid, Tavares, Howley.
