Derby County Head Coach Paul Warne has rung the changes for tonight’s Papa Johns Trophy clash against Manchester City Under-21s at Pride Park Stadium (7pm kick-off).

A win for Derby, either in normal time or on penalties if the contest ends in a draw after 90 minutes, will see the Rams progress to the knockout stages from Northern Section - Group F.

Just the one player starts for Derby from the side that lined up in the 3-0 victory at Accrington Stanley on Saturday in Sky Bet League One.

Midfielder Jason Knight is the only member of the side to start from that impressive away win, while there are returns to the line-up after injury for midfielder Korey Smith and striker David McGoldrick.

Defender Craig Forsyth is back after illness and starts while former Manchester City Academy full-back Kwaku Oduroh is also in the starting XI.

Striker James Collins is available for selection as his three-match ban for his red card in the recent home defeat to Port Vale only applies to league fixtures.

Derby’s bench includes first year scholar Harry Hawkins, who has impressed in midfield for the Under-21s and Under-18s this term.
