Young Defender Grewal-Pollard Moves to Belper Town On Loan

Derby County Under-21s defender Will Grewal-Pollard has joined Northern Premier League Premier Division side Belper Town on a 28-day loan.

The 20-year-old makes the short move across Derbyshire in a bid to get some important first-team minutes under his belt.

Grewal-Pollard, who can operate at both centre-back and left-back, has been part of the Academy with the Rams since he was eight-years-old and has worked his way through the ranks.

He has yet to make a first-team appearance for the senior side but has over 50 appearances at both Under-18 and, then more recently, Under-21 level.

The defender has five appearances and one assist to his name in the Premier League 2 - Division 2 so far in this campaign.
