Derby County defender Eiran Cashin believes the Rams could have snatched all three points in their 0-0 draw at Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday afternoon - but is happy the team managed to keep to their unbeaten run going.

The Rams played out a goalless draw with their Sky Bet League One top six rivals but did have more than enough chances to win.

Speaking to RamsTV after the match, the centre-back gave his verdict on the performance and looked ahead to the visit of Cambridge United to Pride Park on Friday.

On the result...

I think we could have got three points and that was the aim but on the flip side we kept another clean sheet and kept the unbeaten run going.

There are mixed emotions but we are more frustrated that we couldn't get the three points.

We've got another two home games now in quick succession so hopefully we can put that right.

On the clean-sheet...

Good teams are going to get chances and they had them but we defended well as a team, especially towards the end when it turned into a bit of a basketball game.

The back four and goalkeeper, midfield and strikers are all doing the their jobs, digging in for the team and making sure we keep that clean-sheet.

On the conditions...

I don't mind all that. It was a bit of me. I feel more comfortable when it's like that than when it's hot! We battled well but we just lacked that little bit of quality in the final third today.

On the travelling fans...

It was unreal. Walking out you couldn't really hear the Bolton fans, it was all Derby. It's unreal, especially when you're kicking towards them. It really spurs us on, we're just a little bit gutted we couldn't get the three points for them.

On Cambridge United on Friday...

It's going to be difficult. We're in tomorrow so we'll get passed all the information on them. We've got to focus on that now, park this one and hopefully get the three points.

On beating Cambridge and Accrington already this season...

We know we can beat anyone in this league. We've got the players and the talent to do it. We've got the confidence to do it and we've put a bit of a run together now we just need to make sure we get the three points.

On the end of 2022...

It would be nice to give the fans a win to finish off a hectic year so we're looking forward to it and hopefully we'll give the fans something to cheer about.
