The Community Trust’s Knit and Natter group meet on a Thursday at Harrison’s Hub. Over winter, they’ve been knitting hats, gloves and scarves for those who need them, many of which have been distributed locally and at the Community Meals delivered at the Hub. They are sending their latest batch to aid efforts in Turkey and Syria following the recent catastrophic earthquake, where temperatures remain below freezing, and will be continuing to produce more to send over.
