Pre-Match Information: Plymouth Argyle (A)

Derby County face another huge test on Tuesday evening when they travel to high-flying Plymouth Argyle in Sky Bet League One action (8pm kick-off).

The Pilgrims currently occupy the second automatic spot in the division and sit 10 points above the Rams as we head into the latter stages of the season.

In the lead-up to the game getting underway, dcfc.co.uk has brought together all the key information you need to know…

Team News

Vice-captain Max Bird (groin) is set to return to full training this week after a month out of action and Tuesday evening's game will come too soon for him.

Defender James Chester has returned to training after a calf injury but needs time to build up his fitness after a long spell on the sidelines.

Warne's Words

Head Coach Paul Warne sat down with RamsTV to preview Tuesday evening's trip to Plymouth.

He said: "Every team in the league are quite good at their best and our job is to show the lads Plymouth at their best and their worst.

"They are brave at home as we are away so it will be a real tough game. They've been really good at home and I think they've only lost to Port Vale at home in the league. They can score goals for fun but they also concede them. I like the way they play but they will be very difficult to play against, especially at their place."

From The Dressing Room

Midfielder Conor Hourihane spoke to RamsTV ahead of a return to one of his former clubs.

He said: "Credit to them. They've got a really good manager, they play a good style of football and they've been relentless in their results.

"It's a big club, a big fan base that travel in their numbers and it's not easy as a player constantly travelling hours to away games so hats off to them, they've done really well but hopefully come Tuesday night we'll manage to get one over on them."

Ticket Information

Tickets for Tuesday's match are now OFF SALE and supporters without a ticket are advised NOT to travel to Plymouth as sales are not available on the day of the game.

1,642 tickets were made available for Rams fans and just a few remained ahead of going off sale.

He's handed out 90 yellow cards, issued one red and awarded nine penalties.
