Derby County will begin their
pre-season games programme ahead of the 2023/24 Sky Bet League One
season with a trip to Matlock Town on Saturday afternoon (3pm kick-off).
Team News
Head Coach Paul Warne is set to have a near fully-fit squad available to call upon.
The only absentee is set to be forward Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, who is away on international duty with Guatemala, but if any players are carrying knocks or muscle tightness then they will not be risked.
Summer signings Joe Ward, Josh Vickers, Callum Elder and Curtis Nelson could make their first appearances in Derby colours.
Friday night's signings Sonny Bradley and Conor Washington will not feature after not training with the squad.

Tickets were snapped up incredibly quickly back in May by both Derby and Matlock supporters, with around 2,300 purchased to make the match a sell-out.
