Derby County completed the Deadline Day signing of midfielder Elliot Embleton on a season-long loan deal on Friday evening.

Embleton moved to the Rams from Sky Bet Championship side Sunderland and brings a mixture of both youth and experience despite his young age in middle of the park for Head Coach Paul Warne and his side.
The 24-year-old, who has experienced promotion from Sky Bet League One twice already in his career, spoke to RamsTV to give his thoughts after he had put pen-to-paper with the Rams.
I found out about the move this morning and drove down to get the deal done. I've missed the last eight months or so through injury and I can't wait to get started and get some games in.
It was very tough. To go from Sunderland where I'd played the first half of the season to having that cut short was a really tough time but I've trained for the last month or so and I'm ready to go now. I had a little bit of extra surgery more recently but everything is all sorted now and I'm good to go.

It was up in the air and the manager at Sunderland was speaking to us about maybe playing a part for them on Saturday but a few hours later I'm down here and I'm ready to get involved here.
It's really important. It's what you want to do as a player, play as many games as you can and hopefully help the team along the way.

He's been fantastic to be fair. He's made me feel welcome and everyone else has as well in the short time I have been around.
I've been out on loan before and most recently to Blackpool two seasons ago and got promoted with them. That was successful for me and I'm now looking to do the same here.

It's a long season so it is important you don't get caught up when things aren't going too well. You've just got to look to put things right, it's a long season so a lot can change.
Sunderland get similar numbers to Derby in terms of the fan base so I know how big of a club this is. I'd like to think I can come here and handle the pressure.

I'm attacking, I like to get goals and a few assists along the way and help the team as much as I can.
I can't play tomorrow at Bolton but going into the next two weeks training I'll be able to build my fitness up, get amongst the lads and meet them and get along with the style of play as well. It will be a big help getting the two weeks training in.
