Derby County striker James Collins has been named the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for January in Sky Bet League One.
The striker has claimed the award after an excellent opening month of 2024 which saw him bag five goals in six games in league action.
Collins' winner in the 2-1 victory against Cheltenham Town at Pride Park Stadium was the pick of his strikes across the month; a sublime volley after connecting perfectly with a cross from winger Nathaniel Mendez-Laing.
Derby's number nine saw off strong competition from Portsmouth's Colby Bishop, Dan Agyei of Leyton Orient, Barnsley forward Devante Cole, Karamoko Dembele of Blackpool and Oxford United forward Mark Harris for the honour.
