Derby County will continue to build towards the start of the 2025/26 Sky Bet Championship season by heading to the West Midlands to take on Walsall in July.

The Rams will travel to the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium to face the League Two outfit on Tuesday 22nd July 2025 (7:30pm kick-off).

It will be Derby’s first meeting with the Saddlers - who are now managed by former Crawley Town and Shrewsbury Town defender Mat Sadler - since a friendly clash ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.

Walsall narrowly missed out on promotion to League One last term with a 1-0 loss to AFC Wimbledon in the Play-Off Final at Wembley Stadium.

Ticket details will be confirmed and communicated to supporters in due course.

Information regarding further pre-season fixtures - including one during Derby’s training camp in Austria - will be communicated as soon as they are confirmed and the club is able to do so.
