PRE-SEASON TEAM NEWS: Red Bull Salzburg vs Derby County

Derby County’s starting line-up for their pre-season friendly match against FC Red Bull Salzburg in Austria has been confirmed (6pm local time kick-off, 5pm BST).

The Rams have spent the last week on an overseas training camp in the Tyrol region of Austria and have made the journey to Salzburg to face the Austrian Bundesliga giants at the 28 Black-Arena Nonntal ahead of returning home.

Head Coach John Eustace and his coaching staff took a 30-man squad out to the European continent for their week on the training pitch.

The Rams will begin the match against Salzburg with the same starting XI that kicked-off the the first match of their pre-season programme against local non-league side Matlock Town last Saturday, where the two sides drew 1-1 at the Proctor Cars Stadium, meaning another start for Academy youngster Isaac Gordon at right-back. A number of youngsters from the club's youth set-up that have made the trip are also on the bench.

Striker Carlton Morris, forward Andi Weimann and defenders Kane Wilson and Curtis Nelson travelled as part of the squad to Austria and have been working on their rehabilitation programmes from injuries and won't be involved in tonight’s game.

Recent signing Patrick Agyemang is not involved after undergoing hernia surgery, while Sondre Langås, Lars-Jørgen Salvesen, Ryan Nyambe, Joe Ward and Dajaune Brown have remained in Derby to continue their rehabilitation work to return from injuries.
