NEW SIGNING INTERVIEW: Clark hungry to get stuck in after joining Derby

Bobby Clark has revealed his hunger to get stuck into the Sky Bet Championship after joining Derby County.

England youth international Clark has joined the Rams for the 2025/26 season on a season-long loan from FC Red Bull Salzburg.

The move comes after John Eustace’s Derby side played against the 17-time Austrian Bundesliga champions during their overseas training camp last month, with Clark featuring in the Rams' 2-1 win.

The creative midfielder spoke to RamsTV after signing up for the season with Derby.

On choosing Derby County….

Once I found out Derby were interested, I had a chance to speak with the manager and the staff. With his goals and the way he is aligned with me, it seemed right.

On the move materialising over the last month…

(The friendly against Salzburg) was around the time when I knew that Derby were interested. It was a weird one after speaking to the coaching staff, the club and then playing against them as well!

On his new Head Coach John Eustace…

I think he knows that I'm at a point where I want to prove people wrong, and I'm hungry to play football again, especially being back in the UK. It's a great league and I just want to kick on here.
