Derby County Women can confirm the signing of defender Hannah Sparkes.
The 20-year-old joins Derby after leaving fellow FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division side Wolverhampton Wanderers, where she rose through the Academy ranks.
Sparkes Head Coach Sam Griffiths’ tenth addition to her squad this summer, with the new season kicking off this Sunday with an away trip to Rugby Borough (3pm kick-off).
As well as youth football, the defender also gained Tier 3 experience in the heart of defence for Sporting Khalsa last season.
