“In their most recent 2023 annual report, it’s stated that Macmillan’s services reached and supported an estimated 2.3 million people affected by cancer and Macmillan’s nurses, support workers and palliative care nurses have reached approximately 730,000 people living with cancer.
“Derby County Community Trust have worked closely with Macmillan as part of their programmes on offer to those that have been unfortunately impacted by cancer and they cannot speak highly enough of the service they provide.
“We are looking forward to helping raise funds and also awareness of the incredible job Macmillan does over the next two seasons.”

Pearce added: “We have thoroughly enjoyed working with the NSPCC and have built some strong relationships over the last three years. They continue to do an incredible job, and we are proud to have been associated with them.”
Gemma Peters, Chief Executive Officer of Macmillan Cancer Support, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to kick off this fantastic new partnership with Derby County Football Club.
“At Macmillan, we do whatever it takes to support people living with cancer - but we simply can’t do it alone. That’s why the backing of iconic clubs like Derby County, and the passion of their incredible fans, means the world to us.
“Whether it’s raising vital funds or helping to spread the word about our services, support like this really is a game changer. We’re proud to be part of the Derby County family - and we’re ready to give this partnership 110%!”
