NEW SIGNING INTERVIEW: “We Can Achieve Good Things” - Fraulo

Oscar Fraulo believes Derby County can ‘achieve good things’ in the seasons ahead.

The Rams’ newest arrival - who has signed until the summer of 2029 - admitted he holds ‘big ambitions’ and believes Derby is the ideal club to match his aspirations.

A midfielder with UEFA Champions League, Bundesliga and Eredivisie experience, Fraulo brings impressive pedigree to Pride Park Stadium.

Now making his first venture into English football, the 23-time capped Danish Under-21 international told RamsTV about his ambitions, style of play and why Derby is the perfect fit for him as a player.

On His First Impressions Of The Club:

I'm really happy to be here. I’ve seen the stadium, the training facilities and I’ve spoken to the Head Coach, which was great. Everybody seems really nice, so it's a good start so far.

On His Attraction To Derby:

I've known about Derby’s interest in me for some time, but I had some good talks with the club in the last month. I'm already 100% sure that I want to play here, and I can see myself fitting into the club’s project. I'm really happy to be here.

It's a club with ambitions and I also have big ambitions. I know the club wants to produce good players, so this is perfect timing and I think I can achieve good things with Derby.

On His Strengths As A Player:

I'm a really dynamic, box-to-box player. I can run a lot and I can play in many different positions across the midfield. My strength is that I have a lot of power and intensity.

On His Conversation With Head Coach John Eustace:

He was very positive when he spoke about the team. It's a really good group of players and I know he also has big ambitions for this club. I like the way the team play and it's perfect for me to be a part of it.

On Getting Up To Match Speed:

I'm ready. I've had all my checks and everything looks fine. If I could choose, I would play from day one, but I know it takes some time. I'm ready to bring something to the team when I step onto the pitch.
