Derby County Academy defender Freddie Turley has joined Scottish Championship side Dunfermline Athletic on a loan deal until the end of the 2025/26 season.

Turley has been a frequent fixture for the Under-21s and B Team since signing for the Rams from League of Ireland side Shamrock Rovers in July 2024.
The versatile defender, who operates at right-back and in defensive midfield, has linked up with Dunfermline.
A Republic of Ireland Youth International, Turley will be looking to add further competitive senior experience to his CV when he heads north of the border.
The Pars, who are managed by former Celtic boss Neil Lennon, currently sit fifth in the Scottish second tier with 14 league games remaining this season.
Turley will look to get his first match minutes with Dunfermline when they face Kelly in the Scottish Cup Fifth Round on Saturday 7th February.
