Derby County is delighted to confirm the permanent capture of midfielder Bobby Clark from Red Bull Salzburg.

The 21-year-old, who spent the 2025/26 campaign on loan at Pride Park Stadium, has signed a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
Clark featured 45 times in black and white last season – collecting eight goals and assists – as he became a fans’ favourite and scooped the Sammy Crooks Young Player of the Season award.
The former Liverpool man operated in several roles across the midfield - thriving as a number 10, as well as in a deeper midfield position – establishing himself as an integral member of John Eustace’s side.

He opened his account for the Rams against Premier League side Burnley in the Carabao Cup, before netting the winner against Middlesbrough at Pride Park on New Year’s Day.
It was part of a goal-laden January for Clark, who also got on the scoresheet during away wins over Charlton Athletic and Bristol City, earning him the EA Sports FC EFL Young Player of the Month trophy.
Clark becomes Derby’s first signing ahead of the new campaign. To watch him in action for the Rams, secure your 2026/27 Season Ticket HERE.
