Derby County Women travel to the Myra Shay Stadium to face Halifax Women in the FA Women’s National League tomorrow (2pm kick-off).

Sam Griffiths will be hoping to get back on track in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division after a disappointing 4-0 defeat at home to Middlesbrough last time out.
The Ewes, who sit 10th in the table, will be looking to extend the five-point buffer from the relegation zone, with only a single point between Derby and Halifax.
Griffiths’ side will hope to complete the league double over Halifax tomorrow, after beating them 2-0 at home back in September of last year.
Tickets for Sunday’s game can be purchased at the gate at the Myra Shay Stadium. The stadium accepts cash or card to purchase tickets.
Gates open at 1pm.

Halifax Women currently reside in 9th position in the FA Women’s National League table, with only a point currently separating the two sides, with both teams playing the same number of games.
Rewinding all the way back to September 14th, 2025, it was Derby County who came out victors in the reverse fixture at the Don Amott Arena. First-half goals from Kate Oakley and former Halifax player Minnie Wilson saw out a dominant win over tomorrow’s opposition, a performance Griffiths will hope her side can replicate on opposition soil.
Both sides have only picked up four wins from 14 games in this FA Women’s National League campaign. Halifax’s last win was a 2-0 home victory against Hull City, their second league win at home, with their first dating all the way back to August.
On average, the opposition have conceded 1.43 goals per game at home, which the Ewes will hope to exploit going into such a huge tie at the bottom of the table.
