Throughout this week, dcfc.co.uk will be delving into the archives to take a look back at some of the Rams’ most memorable moments at the City Ground, the home of Nottingham Forest, in pictures ahead of this weekend’s trip across Brian Clough Way.
Steve McClaren’s Rams and Stuart Pearce’s Reds will lock horns on Sunday 14th September (1:15pm) in the Sky Bet Championship.
The first of this week’s images is Horacio Carbonari celebrating his first goal for Derby County, in a thrilling 2-2 draw at the City Ground during the 1998/99 Premiership season.

Tony Dorigo put Derby ahead just after half time from the penalty spot but goals from frontmen Dougie Freedman and Pierre van Hooijdonk turned the game on its head, before Carbonari struck on 72 minutes to level matters.
Nottingham Forest: Beasant, Rogers, Armstrong, Chettle, Gemmill, Quashie, Bart-Williams, Bonalair, Stone, Freedman (Harewood), van Hooijdonk.
Substitutes Not Used: Crossley, Hjelde, Shipperley, Gray.
Derby County: Hoult (Poom), Carbonari, Laursen, Prior, Dorigo, Elliott, D Powell, Bohinen, Harper (Sturridge), Wanchope, Burton.
Substitutes Not Used: Eranio, Baiano, Bridge-Wilkinson.
Derby finished the season, under Jim Smith's management, in eighth place while Forest finished bottom of the table, with Carbonari scoring the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win for the Rams when the sides met later in the season.
