Derby County Under 23s full-back Calum Macdonald claimed his second cap for Scotland at Under 21 level on Wednesday in Slovakia.
The 18-year-old Academy graduate penned professional terms last season after impressing at both Under 18 and Under 21 level.
His progress was rewarded with a first-ever call-up to the Scotland Under 21 squad in October and he went on to make his debut against Macedonia as a substitute.
Macdonald came off the bench again yesterday afternoon, playing the final 19 minutes of their freiendly against their Slovakian counterparts as Scott Gemmill’s side were beaten 4-0 in Myjava.
