Derby County’s new Umbro home kit for the 2017/18 Sky Bet Championship season is on sale.

Umbro are now into their fourth year serving as the Rams’ Official Kit Supplier after a new five-year contract extension was agreed last month.

The deal ensures that the iconic UK kit manufacturer will continue to produce all on-pitch and training products for Derby’s management staff and squad as well as sportswear for the Rams supporters, management staff and players until the end of the 2021/22 season.

And for this campaign, Umbro have provided the club with another set of bespoke performance garments – with their latest production showcasing all-new features and an updated design across playing, training and staff wear.

The 2017/18 season sees the reintroduction of the famous running diamond to the Umbro kits.

First introduced in 1977, it’s was an iconic staple to Umbro kits for decades and returns now – 40 years after its first introduction to offer a visual statement.

Featuring on the new home jersey of Derby County, the original tape, now knitted into the body of the shirt using a lightweight jacquard technology, removes any weight and distraction for the player while holding its instantly identifiably recognition.

The Derby design gives a clean and crisp home visual, featuring powerful colour blocking traditional with the home shirt, which boldly features new official shirt partner Avon Tyres on the front.

The reverse of the shirt features ‘THE RAMS’ sign off on the back of the neck – just above the logo of the club’s secondary shirt partner Utilita – which gives instant acknowledgement of the players and supporters association with the club.

This classy kit is constructed with great fit and bold styling at the heart of the design, whilst elongated articulated panels provide freedom of movement, with stylised hem and club specific stitching details completing the look.

The black home shorts are tailored for maximum comfort and movement, featuring contrasted knitted diamonds to match the sleeves of the jersey.

Double welt socks in traditional white feature with a black band and adorned with the double diamond to complete a kit that matches the modern-day footballers’ high levels of performance on the pitch
