Derby County have discovered who they will face in the group stages of the 2018/19 Premier League International Cup.

The Rams’ Under-23s have been drawn in Group F and face the prospect of facing Manchester United, French giants Paris St Germain and Dutch heavy weights PSV Eindhoven – the latter side who we faced in the competition two years ago.

Details of the fixture dates will be confirmed in due course.

The draw for the 2018/19 Premier League International Cup is as follows:

GROUP A

Southampton, West Ham United, Dinamo Zagreb & Porto

GROUP B

Leicester City, Reading, Sparta Prague & Feyenoord

GROUP C

Norwich City, Tottenham Hotspur, Athletic Club Bilbao & Wolfsburg

GROUP D

Brighton & Hove Albion, Everton, Bayern Munich & Benfica

GROUP E

Liverpool, Swansea City, Hertha Berlin & Villarreal

GROUP F

DERBY COUNTY, Manchester United, Paris St Germain & PSV Eindhoven

The International Cup consists of 12 Premier League 2 teams and 12 Under-23 sides from elite Academies across Europe, split into six groups of four.

The six group winners and the two best runners-up qualify for the quarter-finals. All knockout ties are one-off matches.

Derby had their second taste of the competition last season.

They were drawn in a group alongside Everton, Dinamo Zagreb and Wolfsburg but didn’t make it into the knockout stages.
