Derby County return to Pride Park Stadium to face Bristol City to mark the half-way point of the season in the Sky Bet Championship.

Frank Lampard’s side have been unbeaten in three consecutive games heading into the fixture and here, dcfc.co.uk has everything you need to know ahead of the clash with Lee Johnson’s side.

TEAM NEWS…

Frank Lampard has said Tom Lawrence is a doubt for Saturday’s game after picking up a knock against Nottingham Forest.

There are no other injury concerns, however Curtis Davies, Mason Bennett, Craig Forsyth Marcus Olsson and Joe Ledley remain out of action.

WHAT THE BOSS HAD TO SAY…

Lampard told RamsTV: “It will be a tough game. I watched them against Norwich at the weekend and they held their own. They drew 2-2 with the league leaders and they are a good team.

“They have a good manager, play with good energy, they are aggressive, competitive and have good quality. As all games are, it will be another tough one.”

He added about the Christmas schedule: “We have to see it as a challenge and an opportunity. There will be tough games, without a doubt, and once we are past Bristol City, we will have played everyone already and we know the challenges of Sheffield United and Norwich, so we have to step up.

“To be successful, you have to step up in these games and we have got a bunch of them, so we need to be on it. The first half of the season has gone quickly but a lot has happened too. It’s a nice halfway mark to gauge where we are at.”

HOW TO SECURE YOUR SEAT…

There is still time to secure your seat and there will be no price increase on the day of the game.

As it is the last home game before Christmas, the Rams have introduced an offer for Home Members ONLY, who will receive 50% off standard prices for this fixture.

Ticket prices for the game start from:

Senior: £20
Under 18: £15.50

WHAT’S TO COME IN THE RAM…

Frank Lampard sat down for an in-depth interview with Senior Communications Officer Tom Loakes to assess Derby’s campaign so far as the season hits the half-way point.

Spanning six pages, the manager discussed his first steps into management with the Rams and his goals for the second part of the season.

As ever, The Ram will be jam-packed with news and features and retails for just £3 from around Pride Park Stadium.

THE LAST MEETING…

Derby County 0-0 Bristol City

19th January 2018

Derby County and Bristol City had to settle for a point each following a goalless draw as both teams looked to push further in their promotion chases.

The Rams got the better of the chances with Curtis Davies’ header that was cleared off the line by Aden Flint and Johnny Russell hitting the bar with a free-kick in the first-half.

The Robins’ ‘keeper Luke Steele also made saves to deny Tom Lawrence and Matej Vydra.

WHO’S THE MAN IN THE MIDDLE…

Darren Bond will be the man in the middle on Saturday when Derby take on Bristol at Pride Park Stadium. So far this season he has shown 37 yellow cards and is yet to produce a straight red.

It will be the first time this season that Bond has taken charge of a Sky Bet Championship match involving the Rams. Although he was the referee for their First Round Carabao Cup victory over Oldham Athletic.

He will be assisted by Andrew Fox and Matthew McGrath on the lines, whilst Michael Salisbury has been appointed as the fourth official.
