Midfielder Harry Wilson has been nominated for the Championship Player of the Month for December.

The 23-year-old has been in scintillating form throughout the month and has contributed three goals, as well as one assist.

He netted two against Swansea City at the start of December including a 30-yard stunner which won the club’s Goal of the Month competition.

He fired a trademark free kick against Sheffield United on Boxing Day and provided the assist for Mason Mount’s leveller at Norwich City in the dramatic 3-4 victory.

Wilson has been nominated alongside Jarrod Bowen (Hull City), Kemar Roofe (Leeds United) and Billy Sharp (Sheffield United).

The judging panel comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL Trader Mikey Mumford.

The winner will be announced on Friday 11th January.
