Derby County’s new manager Phillip Cocu has delivered his first message to the club’s supporters.
Cocu, 48 was confirmed as Derby’s boss earlier today after agreeing a four-year contract at Pride Park Stadium.
Posting a message on his official social media channels, Facebook and Instagram, he delivered his first communication with the Rams’ faithful.
He said: “Being fully charged and more passionate than ever, it is time to start a new chapter in my career.
“I am pleased and honoured to confirm that Derby County will be my new club and can’t wait to meet with the team and the fans to start this adventure together.
“Derby County Football Club is a wonderful and heartfelt club and I believe we are aligned in our thinking and philosophy of the game. I am looking forward to achieving our goals together.”
