Derby County will now face Sarasota Metropolis at 6pm local time (11pm UK time) at the IMG Academy in Florida.
The Rams first pre-season fixture was originally set to be played at 7pm local time but has been brought forward by an hour.
It will be Phillip Cocu's first game in charge for Derby County as the Rams' pre-season preparations ramp up.
