Central defender Richard Keogh has been called up to the provisional Republic of Ireland squad to face Switzerland and Bulgaria.

Keogh, who recently made his 350th Derby County appearance, has provisionally been in Mick McCarthy’s squad for their upcoming international fixtures.

They face Switzerland on Thursday 5th September at the Aviva Stadium (7.45pm kick off) in a UEFA Euro Qualifier, whilst five days later, they face Bulgaria at the Aviva Stadium on Tuesday 10th September (7.45pm kick off) in a friendly fixture.

Keogh has been capped 25 times by his country and has scored one goal. That came against Georgia back in 2013 in a 4-0 win.
