Derby County’s Krystian Bielik has been named in the latest Poland squad for their upcoming 2020 European Championships qualifiers.

The 21-year-old, who joined Derby on a five-year deal from Premier League side Arsenal back in August, will link up with the Polish camp following Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship fixture against Luton Town at Pride Park Stadium.

Bielik recently won his first full international caps for Poland, coming off the bench in their 2-0 defeat against Slovenia and then starting in a 0-0 draw against Austria earlier this month.

Poland sit top of Group G as they seek to qualify for next summer’s European Championships and will play Latvia away from home on Thursday 10th October, before facing North Macedonia on home turf on Sunday 13th October.

Since joining Derby at the beginning of the campaign Bielik, who is capable of playing in central defence or in midfield, has made nine appearances.
