Young Derby County defender Lee Buchanan and forward Morgan Whittaker have earned call-ups to the England Under-19 squad for their upcoming international fixtures against Luxemburg, North Macedonia and Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Buchanan earned international recognition for the first time in September, however, had to withdraw from the squad due to injury.

He went on to earn his first cap for England against France in October and could be in line to make his second appearance as they face Luxemburg in Macedonia on Wednesday 13th November (12pm kick-off).

Three days later, the Under-19s face North Macedonia on Saturday 16th November (12pm kick-off), before they play Bosnia & Herzegovina on Tuesday 19th November (12pm kick-off).

Buchanan has enjoyed a progressive season for the Rams so far, making four appearances in the Derby first team.

He scored the winning goal on his debut against Scunthorpe United as Derby progressed to the Second Round of the Carabao Cup, whilst he made his league debut against West Bromwich Albion in August.

Meanwhile, Whittaker has also been named in Paul Simpson's squad for the upcoming internationals. The forward could be in line to earn his third cap for the Three Lions next week.

Whittaker has also made his breakthrough this season, featuring three times for the Rams this season.

His first appearance came in the Carabao Cup First Round tie against Scunthorpe United whilst he made his league debut at the KCOM Stadium against Hull City in October.
