Derby County will continue to monitor the fitness of Tom Lawrence and Andre Wisdom ahead of Sunday’s Sky Bet Championship fixture against Blackburn Rovers at Pride Park Stadium (3pm kick-off).

Lawrence sustained a knock in the closing stages of the first-half during the Emirates FA Cup Fifth Round tie at home to Manchester United on Thursday night.

The Wales international forward tried to run off the problem after undergoing treatment, but was eventually replaced by Morgan Whittaker just before the interval.

Defender Wisdom, meanwhile, was not in the matchday squad against the Red Devils owing to illness.

“Tom took a hard knock on his calf,” said manager Phillip Cocu in his post-match press conference after the Manchester United game.

“We will assess him and hopefully he will be available for Sunday.”

Lawrence has made 35 appearances in all competitions for Derby this season, scoring nine times, while Wisdom has appeared 17 times during the campaign after recovering from a long-term knee injury.
