Derby County winger Tom Lawrence has been called up to the Wales national squad for their upcoming international fixtures in March.

Wales have a tough three fixtures lying in wait for them over the international period as they kick off their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers with a trip to Belgium.

They travel to the King Power at Den Dreef Stadion on Wednesday 24th March (7:45pm kick-off) as Rob Page once again takes the side in the absence of Ryan Giggs.

Three days later, on Saturday 27th March (8pm kick-off), Wales host Mexico in a friendly fixture at Cardiff City Stadium, whilst they remain on home turf for another World Cup qualifier three days later, on Tuesday 30th March (7:45pm kick-off), as they face the Czech Republic.

Lawrence, who has missed the last three months of football due to an ankle injury sustained in the goalless draw at home to Stoke City in December, has made 13 appearances for the Rams so far this season.

Should he feature for Wales this coming month, he would be set to earn his 22nd cap for his country.
