Derby County will travel to Swansea City on Saturday afternoon in their final away fixture of the 2020/21 Sky Bet Championship season.

SOCIAL MEDIA BOYCOTT…
The FA, Premier League, EFL, FA
Women’s Super League, FA Women’s Championship, PFA, LMA, PGMOL, Kick It
Out and the FSA will unite for a social media boycott from 15.00 on
Friday 30 April to 23.59 on Monday 3 May, in response to the ongoing and
sustained discriminatory abuse received online by players and many
others connected to football.
This has been scheduled to take place across a full fixture programme in the men’s and women’s professional game and will see clubs across the Premier League, EFL, WSL and Women’s Championship switch off their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.
As a collective, the game recognises the considerable reach and value of social media to our sport. The connectivity and access to supporters who are at the heart of football remains vital.
However, the boycott shows English football coming together to emphasise that social media companies must do more to eradicate online hate, while highlighting the importance of educating people in the ongoing fight against discrimination.
In our letter of February 2021, English football outlined its requests of social media companies, urging filtering, blocking and swift takedowns of offensive posts, an improved verification process and re-registration prevention, plus active assistance for law enforcement agencies to identify and prosecute originators of illegal content. While some progress has been made, we reiterate those requests today in an effort to stem the relentless flow of discriminatory messages and ensure that there are real-life consequences for purveyors of online abuse across all platforms.
Boycott action from football in isolation will, of course, not eradicate the scourge of online discriminatory abuse, but it will demonstrate that the game is willing to take voluntary and proactive steps in this continued fight.
Finally, while football takes a stand, we urge the UK Government to ensure its Online Safety Bill will bring in strong legislation to make social media companies more accountable for what happens on their platforms, as discussed at the DCMS Online Abuse roundtable earlier this month.

2020/21 season away weekend matches are not included in the offer to Season Ticket Holders to watch live matches on RamsTV whilst access to stadiums is restricted, under EFL rules.
I Live In The United Kingdom – Why Can’t I Purchase A Pay Per View Package?
As the game is live on Sky Sports, the club is not allowed to sell pay-per-view packages domestically under EFL rules.
I Live Overseas But Can’t Buy A Pay Per View Package – Why Not?
The club is not allowed to sell pay-per-view packages abroad other than to areas which are classed as ‘dark markets’ under EFL rules for this match.
How To Buy Pay Per View Access
If you don’t have a website account: you will need create an account, add your 8-digit Fan ID (if you have one), Name, Address, Postcode and a valid email address not already registered with an account. Then you will be able to purchase pay-per-view access for the match on dcfc.co.uk, as long as you live in a Dark Markets area.
Supporters that have watched live match coverage on RamsTV previously and wish to buy pay-per-view access in a Dark Market area need to login to their account on dcfc.co.uk to purchase the match.

TEAM NEWS…
Derby boss Wayne Rooney has no fresh injury or suspension worries for the game against the Swans.
Goalkeeper Kelle Roos is set to start between the posts once again after replacing David Marshall in the side for last Saturday's 2-1 loss at home to Birmingham City.
Defender Andre Wisdom will not be available for selection after picking up a groin injury last Tuesday night's 3-0 loss at Preston North End.
Wisdom is once set to be replaced at the heart of the Rams' backline by George Edmundson.
The on-loan Rangers defender showed no reaction to recently going under the knife on a hernia issue and has appeared in the side's last two outings.
Recent hamstring issues, sustained in training earlier this week, will keep out on-loan duo Teden Mengi and Beni Baningime.
Mengi has returned to his parent club Manchester United for treatment as he is set to miss the rest of the campaign.
Another on-loan player, striker Lee Gregory, will again miss out with hamstring issue which was sustained in the 2-0 home win over Luton Town earlier this month.
Young striker Jack Stretton picked up an calf problem after coming off the bench in the recent away fixture at Reading and is due to miss the rest of the season.
Polish international midfielder
Krystian Bielik will miss the rest of the season after sustaining
anterior cruciate ligament damage to his right knee in the 1-0
home win over Bristol City at the end of January.
Centre-back Curtis Davies remains out of action for a long-term achilles injury and will also miss the rest of the season.
Winger
Jordon Ibe has recently been building up his sharpness to
the point where he can join in with first-team training once again.
He had been
training with the Under-23 squad with a view to featuring in
one of their upcoming matches, but his progress has been hampered by a hamstring problem.
PRE-MATCH THOUGHTS…
Speaking to RamsTV ahead of the game, Manager Wayne Rooney said: “It is a pressurised situation in terms of we are trying to stay in the league.
“We are not in good form in terms of results, but we have got two games left to try and turn it round.
“We know what we have to do. There is a lot of pressure on the teams that are chasing us as well, they have to pick up the points to go ahead of us, and our focus is solely on our game on Saturday.
“We have to just keep pushing and trying to get the win. A win on Saturday would be a huge result for us that leads us into the last game of the season. We are giving it our full attention and focus to get our preparation right for Saturday.”
He added: “The mindset is to try and win in any way. Performances are not the most important thing at this stage of the season, it is about trying to get the three points.
“We have to go to Swansea with the belief we can win. I believe we can, and I will have the team set up right to make sure we give ourselves the best chance.”

WHO IS THE MAN IN THE MIDDLE…
Darren Bond will be in charge of Saturday's fixture at the Liberty Stadium.
Bond has overseen 30 games so far this season and produced a total of 99 yellow cards and six red cards.
His last game featuring Derby was the 1-0 defeat at home to Preston North End on Boxing Day, which saw Rams striker Martyn Waghorn sent off in the first half.
He will be assisted by Philip Dermott and Robert Hyde on the lines, whilst Dean Whitestone has been appointed as the fourth official.
EFL SUBSTITUTES RULE…
Following consultation with clubs, the EFL Board has agreed to increase the permitted number of substitutes to five in all Sky Bet EFL fixtures for the remainder of the 2020/21 season.
Regulation 33.4 has been amended to permit:
* Championship Clubs to name up to nine substitutes in their matchday squad, with five permitted to take to the pitch in any fixture.
* League One and League Two Clubs can name up to seven substitutes in their match day squad, again with five permitted to take to the pitch.
GOAL LINE TECHNOLOGY…
Goal line technology is, once again, being used at all Sky Bet Championship matches during the 2020/21 season.
The system was introduced for the start of the 2017/18 campaign and is now entering its fourth full season in the division.
ONLINE PIRACY…
The EFL, alongside all 72 of its member clubs, has launched a campaign aimed at discouraging the illegal streaming of fixtures, warning that doing so will take vital revenue away from clubs
The outbreak of COVID-19 and subsequent behind-closed-doors matches mean that income generated by streaming matches is more important than ever and remains one of the only income streams available at this challenging time.
Illegal streaming, therefore, is having a greater impact on clubs whilst supporters are unable to attend matches. The EFL and its clubs could potentially lose around a third of income from illegal streaming this season, a figure which is potentially much higher when factoring in every illegal stream.
Statistics show that over half of sports fans consume sports content from pirate services at least once a month. Over 7,000 illegal EFL streams have been detected so far this season, with an average of 170 people viewing each stream, totalling almost 1.2million people. Supporters in the UK accessing streams via a VPN are also accessing the stream illegally.
Failure to comply with the terms set out when subscribing to live streams for the EFL is a serious breach and allows the ability to terminate the subscription. The EFL, and clubs streaming through their own services, have very similar rights in their terms and conditions.
The EFL and its clubs take piracy incredibly seriously, working with a specialist security agency to proactively seek out illegal streams on all formats and taking action against businesses and individuals.
Supporters are therefore encouraged to report any illegal streams, or pubs that may be showing EFL content unlawfully, by emailing [email protected]. All emails will be treated confidentially.
STAY AT HOME…
Derby County is continuing to urge supporters to stay away from stadiums when matches are played, with the UK Government advice remaining the same relating to playing behind-closed-doors at this time in the 2020/21 season.
Matches are still being played behind-closed-doors with the safety of supporters, club personnel and the frontline services remaining the principle priority at this time.
Consequently, supporters will not be permitted entry to any area of the stadium and extra security measures around the immediate area including car parks will be in place when staging matches.
Supporters are also urged to maintain social distancing guidelines and avoid congregating outside stadiums or gathering to watch matches, as part of a new campaign message: ‘When we play, please stay away’ ahead of all EFL matches.
