Derby County are on the road for a big Sky Bet League One clash against Barnsley on Saturday (3pm kick-off).

The Rams have beaten the Tykes twice this season - once in Emirates FA Cup action and once in the reverse fixture way back in August.

Barnsley do, however, go into this one in fine form having won four of their last five, and will be out to try and stop Paul Warne's men from making it three wins from three in this campaign.

In the lead-up to the game getting underway, dcfc.co.uk has brought together all the key information you need to know…

Team News

Midfielder Max Bird (groin) continues his recovery from the injury he picked up in the FA Cup Fourth Round clash with West Ham United.

Defender James Chester (calf) has stepped up his recovery and is now back running on the grass.

Warne's Words

Head Coach Paul Warne sat down with RamsTV to discuss what is expected to be another huge test on Saturday.

He said: "It's as big as every other game. Michael Duff and Martin Paterson have done a great job and they've collected more points per game than we have so I appreciate what a difficult opposition they are. They've won five out of their last six and I think they'd won five out of five when we played them in the FA Cup.

"They are in really good form, as are we, they've got really good players, as have we, and they are very well coached, as are we. There's really not a lot to pick between us.

"We've just got to try and win every game and that's what we'll do."

From The Dressing Room

Eiran Cashin spoke to RamsTV after scoring his first goal of the season against Charlton Athletic and previewed Saturday's trip to Barnsley.

He said: "It's a massive game. We got a win against Charlton Athletic and we need to build on that now and get another one. We know they are a good team and it's a tough place to go but we'll be ready and aiming to get three points."

Ticket Information

Derby's allocation of tickets for Saturday's match have completely sold out.

Derby were handed a total allocation of 4,993 tickets for the match and these have all been snapped up. No further tickets will be made available.

Those fans without a ticket are advised not to make the journey to Barnsley, as they will be unable to gain access to the stadium.
