Derby County Head Coach Paul Warne says his side were 'OK' in the 3-1 victory over Lincoln City at Pride Park Stadium - but was ultimately pleased they managed to take their chances and pick up another three points.

Goals from Conor Hourihane, Kane Wilson and James Collins secured a sixth win in seven games for the Rams in Sky Bet League One, but Warne feels there's still room to improve over the busy festive period.

Speaking to RamsTV after the game, he gave his verdict on the performance.

On the result...

I am pleased with the result and I don't think we picked up any injuries, which is a positive. I would have liked more control of the game but, generally, we were OK.

On game management and conceding a penalty late in the first half...

To give away a penalty at that time, just before the break, was disappointing. They didn't really lay a glove on us in the first half. We had control but, again, we didn't create a lot either.

I just didn't think we were great all round in the first half and in the second half we didn't start as well as I'd like either but after around ten minutes I thought we were good and looked a little bit more like us.

It wasn't our best performance, and I'm not trying to spin it like it was, but the lads won. We did enough to win and that's what the lads get paid for.

On Kane Wilson's first goal for the club...

I'm pleased for him and after the first ten minutes after half time, where I thought he was playing a bit safe, he showed the 'I'm the best kid at school' attitude which I love about him and he was unplayable. We took our chances tonight and that was the difference between the teams.

On the other games in League One on Saturday...

We're all going to games this weekend as a coaching staff to see them live. It's nice to get ourselves in a position to improve over the festive period because I think we're going to have to improve. The lads can have a 'down day' tomorrow and then train ahead of Boxing Day's match at Wigan.

On Callum Elder and Liam Thompson returning...

I didn't give them loads of time, because both haven't played for so long. We need to get both of them match fit now. Ryan Nyambe was available for selection tonight but he's only trained for a couple of days after recovering from his injury, so it's nice to have him back and he will also hopefully be included in the squad for Boxing Day at Wigan.
