PLAYER NEWS: Clark Shortlisted for EFL Award

Bobby Clark has been shortlisted for recognition at the upcoming EFL Awards 2026.

Clark, who has impressed across 40 league appearances with the Rams on loan from Red Bull Salzburg, is in the running for the EFL Championship Young Player of the Season Award, sponsored by EA Sports.

The 21-year-old midfielder has registered seven goal involvements, converting three times and providing four assists – including setting up Carlton Morris in Derby's 2-0 win over Stoke City on Easter Monday.

Four players have been shortlisted for the Young Player of the Season accolade, with Jordan James (Leicester City), Ashley Phillips (Stoke City, pictured left) and Sydie Peck (Sheffield United) also named alongside Clark.

The winner will be announced at the EFL Awards and the League’s annual ceremony, set to take place on Sunday 19th April, and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Football from 8.30pm.
