Goalscorer Ben Brereton Díaz says Derby County ‘stood tall and strong’ against Sky Bet Championship leaders Coventry City, despite falling to defeat on Good Friday.

Head Coach John Eustace and Brereton Díaz reflected on the game, in which Derby were pegged behind and came back to level through goals from the Chilean international on two occasions, before a third goal from the hosts at the CBS Arena saw them take the spoils.
The Head Coach spoke with RamsTV following the game.
I thought it was an excellent performance from the boys. I thought we put in 100% effort tonight. There was a lot of good quality. The way we played with the ball was excellent for the majority of the game. We are really disappointed to come away with no points. The least we deserved tonight was at least a draw, but lots of positive signs to take from it.

The three goals we conceded tonight weren't good enough. We have to be better than that when we equalise. I feel like we can go on and win the game for sure. To concede the way we did was so, so disappointing. We've still got to learn. We keep learning from all games and tonight's no different. We've got to put things right going into the last six games.
To come to the best team in the league and perform like we did tonight was excellent. There's lots still to come from the group. I know there is. It's really frustrating not to come away with anything. What a great effort from the group. You look at the front three that we had to change from last week's fantastic game against Birmingham. The three boys who came in didn't put a foot wrong, and they worked their socks off. I'm really pleased for them.
He's a top performer at this level. A fantastic Championship player. He's been promoted and knows the league inside out.
I'm glad that he's got better and better throughout the season. He's certainly grown into a top performer for us. It just shows when you keep the faith and keep believing and keep giving him the confidence, that quality comes through. I'm delighted he could get the two goals today.

Monday's game is going to be a difficult one. The lads are going to feel the effects from tonight, I'm sure. But we're going to need Pride Park rocking on Monday. We're going to need that 12th man, and I know they'll come out in force and make sure they support the boys through the difficult moments to make sure we get through it and make sure we get them three points.
The last four victories we've had have seen the fans being right behind the boys. I'm sure that will be true from now until the end of the season.
Double goalscorer Brereton Díaz also caught up with RamsTV after a narrow defeat against the table-toppers.
Listen, a really enjoyable game. You know, I thought we stood tall and strong, and we could have got more from the game. But, as we have said in the dressing room, we're all devastated that we couldn't get more from the game. I thought we deserved it. But that's football at the end of the day. We've got to take our chances and not concede three.

Coventry are a great team; they've got a great starting XI and players coming on to change the game, but I thought we dealt with them really well.
We can take away positives from the game. We've said in the dressing room now that we've got to keep pushing, and we're in a great spot. And it can be exciting for these last five or six games.
I feel good getting to go away to travel and play games. I'm playing football, getting lots of minutes in, so I'm much fitter and feeling really good.

I just want to keep playing football here - the lads have been brilliant. It's a great group, and you can see the determination we've got this evening, going down a goal again and coming back from that. And unfortunately, we just couldn't get it over the line at the end.
