INTERNATIONAL CALL-UP: Zetterström Selected For Sweden World Cup Squad

Jacob Widell Zetterström has been selected to represent Sweden at the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

The Derby County goalkeeper has been named in Swedish Head Coach Graham Potter’s 26-man squad to head to the United States, Canada and Mexico for the tournament.

The Blue and Yellow will be competing in Group F, beginning when they clash with Tunisia on Monday 15th June, while they also face the Netherlands and Japan in the group stage.

Zetterström made 32 appearances in the Sky Bet Championship for the Rams in his second season in English football and earned his first senior cap for his nation in a World Cup Qualifying match against Slovenia back in November 2025.

The Rams' number one will first join up with the Swedish side when they meet for a pre-tournament training camp in Stockholm on Wednesday 27th May.

Potters' team will face Norway (Monday 1st June, 7pm kick-off) and Greece (Thursday 4th June, 7pm kick-off) in friendly competitions before their World Cup begins.
