What to Bring

Make sure you’re prepared with the following:

  • Your match ticket 
  • Team shirt or scarf (optional) 
  • Ear defenders (if sensitive to noise) 
  • Mobility aids (if needed) 
  • Snacks (optional) 
  • Card or contactless device for purchases (the stadium is a cashless venue) 
  • Weather-appropriate clothing

Support On Matchday

  • Stewards in yellow jackets are stationed throughout the stadium, and car parks. 
  • Matchday Supporter Liaison Officers (SLOs) in blue jackets can help with questions and provide extra support. 
  • Stadium maps and signage are located around the stadium.

Getting to Pride Park Stadium

(Turnstiles open approx. 90 minutes before kick-off)

Crowd Level: Light on early arrival, busier closer to kick-off.

Ways to get there:

  • Car
  • Bus
  • Train
  • Walk

We encourage early arrival, especially for first-time fans or those using public transport. 

Public transport may be busier or less frequent, check timetables in advance.

Arriving at the Stadium

(Recommended arrival: 90 minutes before kick-off)

Crowd Level: Quiet to moderate

  • Expect increased pedestrian and car traffic. 
  • Head to the turnstile printed on your ticket.
  • If you cannot use a turnstile due to access needs, an accessible entrance is available for your stand, ask a steward for assistance.

  • Use ourAccessibility Maps or ask a steward for directions. 

Before the Match: Food, Drink & Entertainment

Security and Entry

(Recommended arrival: 70 minutes before kick-off)

Crowd Level: Moderate

Peak Entry Time: 45–15 Minutes before kick-off 

  • Bags may be inspected (standard security check). 
  • Scan your match ticket/season ticket at the turnstile or accessible entrance.
  • Toilets and kiosks are quieter just after opening and during the first 30 minutes of each half. 

Finding Your Seat

(Recommended time to reach seat: 60 minutes before kick-off)

Crowd Level: Moderate  

  • Use your ticket to find your seat. 
  • Stewards are available if you need any help.

Player Warm-Up

(Begins approximately 50 minutes before kick-off)

Crowd Level: Moderate  

  • Players will begin warming up on the pitch.
  • Great time to soak in the atmosphere.

During the Match

Crowd Level: Busy

  • Two 45-minute halves, with a 15-minute half-time break.  
  • Each half may include a few minutes of added time, which can slightly extend the match duration.
  • Expect cheering, chanting, announcements, music, and flashing lights. 
  • Use ear defenders if needed. 
  • Toilets and kiosks are busiest at half-time. For a quieter experience, use these when the stadium first opens or during the first 30 minutes of either half. 
  • Stewards can assist if needed. 

Half-Time

(Startsapprox.45 minutes after kick-off)

Crowd Level: Very Busy

  • Concourse areas and toilets will be busy. 
  • Announcements /music may be louder. 
  • Ask stewards for a quieter area if needed. 

Leaving the Stadium

Crowd Level: Heaviest in the first 10–20 Minutes after full-time.

  • Don’t forget personal items. 
  • For a quieter exit, leave early or wait until the crowd clears.

Travelling Home

  • Expect traffic leaving the stadium.
  • Public transport may be busier or less frequent, check timetables in advance. 
Allow extra time and travel safely.

Accessibility Support

We offer a wide range of accessible facilities and services for disabled fans, including:

  • Accessible Seating (including wheelchair user spaces)
  • Accessible Parking
  • Personal Assistant (PA) tickets

To request adjustments, complete the online Reasonable Adjustment Application Form and provide supporting documentation (a paper copy can be requested at the Ticket Office, if needed).

Accessibility Toolkit

Our Accessibility Toolkit is a flexible collection of tools designed to support a wide range of individual access needs, both in planning for your visit and on the day at Pride Park Stadium.

We understand every fan’s experience is different, and the toolkit offers optional tools to help you feel more comfortable and confident.

What’s Included

The toolkit includes a mix of planning aids, sensory tools, and communication supports. Some are available to download online, while others are physical items that can be borrowed or kept, depending on the type.

  • Accessibility Maps
  • Matchday Checklist — available to download and print
  • Communication Cards - cards designed to support communication for fans who need them, with optional lanyard – yours to keep (communication cards are available to download and print, see below for printing guidance).
  • Ear Defenders — available to borrow, must be returned after the match
  • Fidget Toys — yours to keep

How to Request Toolkit Items

  • No Reasonable Adjustment Application Form is required to request toolkit items.
  • You may be asked a few questions to help us understand your needs.
  • Physical tools must be requested in advance to ensure availability.

Collection Points:

  • Matchday: From Harrison’s Hub (northwest corner of the stadium)
  • Before Matchday: From the Ticket Office (West Stand)

Tips for resizing and printing communication cards:

The PDF is full-size for high-quality printing. To make pocket-sized cards (credit-card size):

  1. Open the PDF in a PDF viewer like Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  2. Choose Print → Multiple pages per sheet → select 4 per sheet (or adjust to your preferred size).
  3. Print on cardstock for durability and cut out each card.
