The one remaining Round Two fixture of this season’s Carabao Cup between Barnsley and Derby County is to be moved to Tuesday 12th September on request of the EFL.

The switch requires the following Sky Bet Championship matches scheduled to take place on Tuesday 12th September to be re-arranged for a future date.

* Derby County v Ipswich Town

* Reading v Barnsley

The EFL would like to apologise to the clubs involved and importantly the supporters of those teams involved for any inconvenience caused.

However, the need to move the tie forward a week is required due to limited flexibility in the fixture schedule alongside the fact that the winners of the Round Two tie have been drawn against Tottenham Hotspur, who have the added complication of being involved in four competitions, including the Group Stages of the Champions League.

Derby County will communicate a new match date – and ticket information – for the re-arranged Ipswich Town fixture in due course.
