Ledley Leaves Derby

Midfielder Joe Ledley has left Derby County after his contract was cancelled by mutual agreement.

The 32-year-old, who was due to be out of contract at the end of the season, made four appearances during the current campaign under Frank Lampard.

Ledley penned the agreement to bring his time at Pride Park Stadium to an end just before the 11pm Transfer Deadline on Thursday evening.

He spent a period out of action earlier in the campaign after undergoing a hip procedure but has in recent weeks returned to full training.

The Wales international joined Derby early last season as a free agent and departs after making 30 appearances in all competitions.

Derby County would like to wish Joe every success in the future and thank him for his efforts.
