Derby County's Under-23s will look to book their place it the Premier League Cup Semi Finals when they take on Newcastle United on Monday at Northumberland FA, kick-off: 1pm.


Darren Wassall’s side will return to action following the international break and look to pick up where they left off from an impressive performance that earned a 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers to move on in the competition.

Jayden Mitchell-Lawson capped off big week after making his first-team debut by scoring and providing an assist for Cameron Cresswell to ensure the young Rams made it through to the quarter-final of the cup.

Newcastle reached the latter stages of the competition by defeating Reading 2-1. The Magpies are enjoying a good season in the Premier League 2 Division 2, currently sitting in third place while the Rams also sit third in the division above.
