It was a good night for out-on-loan full-back Max Lowe as he excelled for Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen on Wednesday night.

The defender continued his impressive development as he scored one and assisted another in a convincing 3-1 home victory over Motherwell.

The left-back opened the scoring for the Dons in the fourth minute as his looped cross deceived everyone and found the top corner.

Whilst Motherwell equalised just before half time, Lowe’s evening went from strength-to-strength as he inspired his team to victory.

He capped off a good night as he assisted Aberdeen’s third goal in additional time. He raced 50 yards forward and received a pass from Dons midfielder Niall McGinn. He advanced into the penalty area before laying the ball back to McGinn and he struck into the top corner from inside the 18-yard box.

That result kept Derek McInnes’ side in fourth position, however, they moved level on points with Kilmarnock who occupy third place.

Meanwhile, Kyle McAllister was an unused substitute for St Mirren in their 2-0 home defeat against league-leaders Celtic.
