Davies To Take Charge Of Derby's Carabao Cup Second Round Clash Against Preston North End

Andy Davies will be the man in the middle when Derby County take on Preston North End at Pride Park Stadium on Tuesday evening in the Second Round of the Carabao Cup (6:30pm kick-off).

Davies oversaw 29 games in total during the 2019/20 campaign - recording 96 yellow cards and three reds overall - while he has also taken charge of two matches so far this season in the EFL Trophy and League One, showing three yellows and one red card.

His last Derby match was the 3-2 defeat at Luton Town back in January of this year, while his last fixture at Pride Park was the 4-0 home win over Bolton Wanderers in April 2019.

Davies will be assisted by Steven Meredith and Adam Crysell on the lines, whilst Mark Dwyer has been appointed as the fourth official.
