Wayne Rooney has made seven changes to the Derby County side for this afternoon’s Sky Bet Championship clash against Wycombe Wanderers at Pride Park Stadium (3pm kick-off).


Rooney, who is leading the team while the search for a new manager is ongoing, is one of those changes as he makes way to concentrate fully on managing the side during today’s encounter with the Chairboys,

From the midweek defeat against Middlesbrough, with only David Marshall, Matt Clarke, Andre Wisdom and Tom Lawrence retain their places in the starting XI.

Colin Kazim-Richards has been handed his first start for the Rams for this afternoon’s game. The striker has made six appearances from the bench this term, but will lead the line today.

Craig Forsyth and Curtis Davies return to the defence, whilst Graeme Shinnie also comes back into the squad in midfield, alongside George Evans who is making his first appearance since the defeat against Watford last month.

Louie Sibley also starts following his second half performance off the bench against Middlesbrough, whilst Duane Holmes is also back in the starting line-up for the visit of the division’s newcomers.
