Ward Appointed As Referee For Derby's Meeting With Queens Park Rangers

Gavin Ward will be the man in the middle when Derby County take on Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday evening in their latest 2020/21 Sky Bet Championship fixture (7:45pm kick-off).

Ward has taken charge of six matches in the 2020/21 campaign to date, producing a total of 15 yellow cards and one red card.

His last Derby fixture was the 1-1 draw at home to West Bromwich Albion at the start of the 2019/20 campaign, with Martyn Waghorn on target for the Rams from the penalty spot.

Ward will be assisted by Steven Meredith and Philip Dermott on the lines, whilst Matthew Donohue has been appointed as the fourth official.
