Manager Wayne Rooney has made two changes to the starting line up which beat Queens Park Rangers 1-0 at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium last weekend for this afternoon’s Sky Bet Championship clash against Bristol City (3pm kick-off).

There is a return in goal for David Marshall who has missed Derby’s last three fixtures with a viral infection, with Kelle Roos reverting to the bench, whilst Max Bird starts as George Evans misses out.

Bird’s last Derby outing in the starting XI came in the goalless draw against Stoke City in December and the midfielder will make his first start of 2021 this afternoon.

Academy graduate Jason Knight, who has captained the Rams in the last three fixtures following Marshall’s absence, makes his 50th starting appearance for the club this afternoon.
