Manager Wayne Rooney has made two changes to his side which drew 0-0 with Barnsley on Wednesday night for this afternoon’s Sky Bet Championship game against Millwall at Pride Park Stadium (3pm kick-off).

There is a return to the starting line up for defender Nathan Byrne, who missed the midweek clash at Oakwell with a knock. The 28-year-old replaces Andre Wisdom, who moves to the substitute’s bench.

That means striker Colin Kazim-Richards will take the captain’s armband for the fixture against the Lions.

Martyn Waghorn also returns to the starting line-up in place of Lee Gregory, who misses out through a slight injury.

Rooney has elected to continue with Kelle Roos in goal following the return of David Marshall from a back injury, who takes up a place on the substitute’s bench.

Elsewhere, there are Derby connections in the Millwall squad for today’s game. Both Mason Bennett and George Evans both line up for the opposition, as well as Alex Pearce who captains the Lions this afternoon.

Former Rams goalkeeper Frank Fielding is named as a substitute for Gary Rowett’s side.
