Manager Wayne Rooney has made three changes to the side which beat Luton Town on Good Friday for this afternoon’s Sky Bet Championship clash against Reading at the Madejski Stadium (3pm kick-off).

There are a couple of enforced changes for Derby today as Matt Clarke, Martyn Waghorn and Lee Gregory have been ruled out with injury. Defender George Edmundson is also unavailable due to injury, which also forced him to miss the win over Luton.

That means a return to the starting line up for Colin Kazim-Richards who starts in attack, whilst Jack Stretton has been recalled from his loan spell with National League side Stockport County and returns to the substitutes bench. The striker netted three goals in five games during his time with the Hatters.

Jason Knight returns to the side, as does Teden Mengi who makes his first start since the game against Stoke City. Academy graduate and Under-23s defender Joe Bateman is also named as a substitute in the league for the first time.

Reading: Cabral, Richards, Moore (C), Olise, Rinomhota, Meite, Ejaria, Yiadom, Laurent, Holmes, Puscas.

Substitutes: Southwood, Esteves, Baldock, Gibson, Joao, Aluko, Semedo, Tetek, Dorsett.
