Team News

Midfielder Jason Knight will be unavailable following the injury he picked up in the Papa Johns Trophy defeat to Manchester City Under-21s last Tuesday, with Paul Warne expecting the 21-year-old to be sidelined for around four weeks.

Defender Curtis Davies and wideman Tom Barkhuizen both picked up injuries against Ipswich Town on Friday evening and will be unavailable for the match with the Grecians.

Goalkeeper Joseph Anang continues to recover from the arm injury he suffered in August and remains out of action.

Striker James Collins will serve the last of his three game league ban following the red card he picked up against Port Vale earlier this month. He will be available for selection once again for Saturday's game with Bristol Rovers.

Warne's Words

Head Coach Paul Warne sat down with RamsTV to discuss the return to league action at Pride Park.

He said: "You can’t always guarantee results but you have to play in a way that excites people, so hopefully we can do that and if we could get back-to-back wins then it takes us on our travels full of confidence and hope."

From The Dressing Room

Goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith spoke to RamsTV and gave his thoughts on Tuesday's test.

He said: "The good thing about the result the other night at Ipswich is that we’ve got another game Tuesday to put it right.

"If players were to admit it, I think they’d prefer to play and keep playing than have a week off and train because players live for games.

"It’s a real good opportunity to create some momentum, get some results and get some points on the board."

Match Officials

Adam Herczeg has been appointed as the match referee for Tuesday evening's meeting with the Grecians.

He's taken charge of 10 fixtures so far this season, issuing 26 yellow cards and awarding one penalty.

Mark Jones and Christopher Ward will assist Herczeg on Tuesday whilst Steven Rushton will be on fourth official duty.
